I went to Wal-Mart and fought the feral animals at the video game pallet and came out with what I went to get.

Is $79.99 for the Nook Color (8gb) a good deal for someone who just wants it to watch a few movies on an aircraft, surf the web briefly and occasionally read an e-book on it?
Can you add your own content on it or does it have to be purchased through the B&N store?

Leap Pad 2 vs sub$100 Android tablet for an almost 4 yo girl. What say you? Leap Pad apps will be more educational, but I think they all cost. Plus there's probably more flexibility/capability with the Android...any advice welcomed.

"Kid Mode" is the one you want, there . are tons of apps you can add to it, videos, and they give you a new free app weekly. It also "locks" them in the program so that they can't mess with your stuff. We have it on our tablets and phones, for car rides and "emergencies" |
