I think that's a real possibility.

Shit I just heard a rumor they'd (MU) would be possibly going after Andy Reid once he's fired. WTF? What the hell is going on w/ MU sports right now?

Mizzou would have a far better coach than the Chiefs, which I guess isn't saying much.

That's about as far-fetched as it gets. Though I've been joking for a month now that Andy Reid would be a great surprise hire for when Auburn inevitably fired Gene Chizik (that day was today).

Wonder if Tuberville would like a return to the SEC?

Not as crazy as it seems. Reid coached at Mizzou for 3 years back in the day.

I don't buy the Andy Reid rumor, though he does have ties to Mizzou (he was part of Bob Stull's staff in the late 80s/early 90s).
I would be surprised if Alden's next coach doesn't have head coaching experience on the college level. And NFL head coach doesn't count. I've posted it on here before, but I was told back in September - before any sense of Pinkel being in real jeopardy - that Paul Rhoads and Kyle Whittingham were on Pinkel's short list (that he always keeps, just in case - part of being an AD). I'd expect Charlie Strong and Dan Mullen would get calls. Strong is probably at the top of the list.

Reid is not a bad coach, I just think he has outlived his time in Philly. I think he could do well at the collegiate level if he is able to recruit. If he can't then he will struggle mightily.
