I don't really see Mathieu in the NFL, don't think he has a position.


In the 2nd, assuming I take Geno 1st, I'm taking the most dynamic WR available, or the best CB available.

There will be a potential starting CB or WR available to us at our pick in the 2nd round. We need to take a player at one of those positions before we address backup QB, which can easily be filled in free agency or later in the draft.

What do you see in Dysert that you like so much, Nightfyre? I'm genuinely asking. I've seen zero games of his.

Dysert has a quick, compact throwing motion and the ball just explodes out of his hand. He makes NFL throws every game. He does require some polishing, though. He runs a spread type offense, locks onto to one receiver and doesn't always set his feet before throwing on the move. But terrific velocity on every ball he throws.

I think Mathieu is a nickel CB in the NFL, or you could probably turn him into a ball-hawking free safety. Ridiculous ball-skills and instincts and a hard hitter to boot.
