In a 1-gap, there is typically 1-de playing the 5/4 -tech. While I'd like to see it upgraded, we could find a stop gap

We have guys with the physical tools. Poe, Bailey, Smith and ropatuti Pototujvdfdgg all would have potential to be above average 1 gap players and Poe and Bailey have massive upside in that role.

Don't be obtuse. Citing PFF ratings of defensive linemen in their first two years is pointless.

Smith and Pitituvdfafgc have both shown the ability to push the pocket, too.

As GoChiefs will tell you, I'm probably the biggest Bailey homer here. He had some excellent flashes against NE, Pitt, Chi, and GB.

That being said, he needs to be upgraded. I don't want to cut him, but we definitely need to upgrade the 3-tech either via FA or the draft, preferably FA for now and the draft next year, unless Richardson falls to us.
