The Academy is proud to sponsor this years edition of the crowning of the 2012 King of the N00bs!

This is the nomination thread. Nominate your candidate for the 2012 King of the N00bs crown in this thread. I will keep a running total in the OP. The top candidates will move on to the King of the N00bs poll. Whoever gets the most votes in the public poll wins the crown.

The Academy doesn't try to define what is a "great" N00b. The qualification criteria is that their join date is January 1st 2012 or later or had less than 50 posts in previous years.

Those are the 3 big ones, but you're right. There are some guys from 2011 that sat around and scoped the place out before really starting to post. They did their homework, and we probably have a half a dozen this year. Makes up for some past years. This class may rival 05!

The Jan. 1st start date is something that comes up every year as unfair to the noobs who join in the middle of football season in Nov/Dec. We have also had posters join and make a few posts but weren't regulars until years later. This gap in our n00b coverage has needed to be addressed by the Academy for years.

i think we can safely say that a poster with less than 50 posts is still a n00b no matter their start date.
