Just curious what the feeling will be if Bill Cowher comes in and everyone's stroking their dicks, then he takes Teo in the 1st and Tyler Wilson in the 2nd?

I'm perfectly fine with Tyler Wilson, but there is no ****ing way in hell he makes it to the 2nd round.


QB's are always going to be overdrafted. Always.


I'd venture to say Geno, Wilson, Barkley, and Bray go in the first round.

Pittsburgh always has undervalued middle linebackers. No way does Teo get taken #1 and its silly to even think that.

You're assuming that Tyler Wilson is going to last until the 2nd, which right now doesn't seem incredibly likely.

Look, when guys like Ryan Tannehill, Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, and Blaine Gabbert are going in the top 10 and such, people better get used to the idea of QBs going early and often.

OLBs as well. I suppose you can do that when you have quality position/coordinator/head coaches and a philosophy that is OLB/ILB friendly.

Idk Scott Wright has a new mock up with both Glennon and Wilson going in round 2. And Scott Wright is the mannnnn.

Honestly I think there will be so much pressure on whatever GM there is to draft a QB at 1. If we take something else, it would be nuclear.

I can literally see people throwing their chairs at the watch party in the practice facility.

They liked them in the second round alot - Chad Brown, Jason Gildon. I think Kirkland and Kendrell Bell were second rounders as well. Pittsburgh never drafted them high. When Steelers drafted high, they went for playmakers at WR(Troy Edwards and Plaxico Burress) and QB with Big Ben.

There is zero reasons that you take a MLB first. If Pioli was around, I'd be worried, as he's taken a 34 five tech end and a safety in the top five. Taking a MLB isn't that much of a stretch for that guy. But I have no doubt he's gone and, in all honesty, there are three other MLB in this draft that have, IMO, more upside than Te'o does at the next level in Minter, Ogletree and Skov.

Kevin Minter is an absolute perfect fit at TED backer in the 34. And Skov is pretty close.

It's starting to get to the point for me personally, where I really want my TED to be significantly better in coverage than blowing up the LOS and being a top tier guy playing the run. I'd sacrifice all that for a guy who can play man in subs.
