he runs a system in college that he wont run in the NFL. His numbers are skewed because of this gimmick offense. Matthews is a LB. Never said he was a ILB. I was pointing out that a linebacker can make a difference, thats why you draft them. This is pointless. You guys seem to be great at insulting people for disagreeing with you. Congratulations. I guess thats all you have when only time will tell.

1) We don't support Geno because of his stats.
2) Yes, Matthews is a LB. In a completely different system with a completely different role that actually has game-changing implications. A role that Teo does not fit.

How? I pointed out that the consistent plays and route philosophies Geno runs (mesh, shallow cross, smash, sticks, sluggo seam, etc) are all NFL philosophies. Additionally, Geno had a full year playing in a pro-based offense under center. It isn't a gimmick offense. If you think so, tell that to the Pats, whose OC came from the AirRaid tree and incorporates several of thei concepts in regards to route design, hots, and sight adjustments. Additionally, the pull from another "gimmick offense" in Oregon in running their hurry-up/no huddle.

Matthews is a pass-rushing, OLB. Not even remotely the same thing as Ray Lewis or Te'o.

You know absolutely nothing about football and I gather you've spent exactly zero time in any capacity learning about it in a higher level than junior high school.
