the Niner defense knocked the Crap outta Eli in last years NFC Championship game and he kept getting up/fighting back and won the game, IMO thats a real Clutch QB.

There is absolutely no comparison of the two... if all you do is go by stats, you don't know what you're talking about. Look at Tony Romo's first 4 years as a starter...
15k yards / 107 TDs / 55 INTs combind mid 60's completion percentage and a rating in the low/mid 90s How's that working out compared to Eli?

I swear to ****ing god if KC gets Sanchez i'll shit! No way. Kid sucks beyond belief. Eli is clutch and can lead his team. He may not put up pretty numbers like Brady. But he's clutch and I'd take that

The difference is in watching the games. Eli played well, showed promise, and improvement. Sanchez just flat out sucks and is a downward spiral of suck.
This thread reminds me of the concussed talking heads on ESPN. It amazes me how Dilfer and Young fluff Sanchez, make all the excuses in the world for him, and claim over & over how much he just 'needs help' and a 'real shot' with 'a coach dedicated to him'... but then just blast Tebow. Dilfer needs to recall he was the cog holding back his team during his SB run and Young needs to rewatch tape of his Tampa years till his stutter is gone, then both can . |

Yeah, the difference is that Sanchez will probably never really "want" to win.

I recognize that Eli Manning has talent. However, a reasonable person has to admit that, in addition to starting his career as the quarterback of a very good, overall team, he's been the beneficiary of a tremendous amount of good luck.
2012 might provide insight into the "real" Eli. 20 TDs and 15 INTs to go with his 84 rating. Although I admit that I am a known critic of all things Manning, I think it's very possible that he's a high average quarterback on a very good, all-around team with good coaching. I also think that even a quarterback who could consistently deliver in the high 80s or low 90s (as compared to Mark Coswell's 66 rating or Quinn's 64) would have a tremendous, positive effect on the Kansas City Chiefs.
