Oh no, Geno had a poor game in shitty conditions, with a shitty defense, and shitty officiating. We should draft Manti Te'o now.

I thought Geno was obviously nervous and played poorly the first qtr or so, but he also did not make the plays that win as the game went on. I still think of him as one of the best prospects this coming draft.

The Chiefs need to start drafting QB's plain and simple. Geno might be good for them but hey, you can't have too many good players at the QB position especially if you're going to start running option offense in the NFL like folks are doing.

I hate what is happening in this league -- QB's that can run the option but can't be tackled when sliding is pussy ball. But if that's what's going on, Timmy Tebow is a NFL QB FOLKS!!1!! THA BITCH WAS RIGHT!!!11!

Smith vs. Wilson. Gonna be a fun offseason. I think we'll end up drafting Wilson.

The game was overall shit, Geno still has some flaws, but most QBs do. Geno is not a god of QBs like most CP members make him out to be. Stop blaming the snow lol
it's like everything else around here, it's turned into 'A Battle' which is more about the fight than it is about the subject.

group 1 vs group 2 ... lets fight!!

makes no difference what the topic is or what happens ... one group defends while the other group attacks. The next subject they reverse roles.

In other words, you can't remember any great games by a QB in the elements.

I am absolutely recognizing the fact that Geno had a bad game today.

But anyone that dismisses the elements as a reason is being an idiot.

In the nearly 50 years I have been watching football, I can only remember 3 or 4 games that the QBs have really overcome the elements to play a a realy high level.

Excuses followed by stupidity. Did you hear me say anything about Manti?

Instead of holding geno responsible for HIS bad game, it's the weather's fault and the Defenses fault and the officiating, and the coaching blah blah blah.

It couldnt have ANYTHING to do with Geno himself, right? No, never that.

He played below average. He wasn't throwing picks left and right, or just being horrific, so I won't say he was terrible. He wasn't good.

However, there are other factors to consider (momentum/point killing penalties, weather, poor playcalling) that despite an individual's view on their impact, impacted the game nonetheless. In short, this game can't be solely attributed to Geno. In fact, I would think out of his losses (minus OU) this one might be the best one he's performed in/not been the primary catalyst for the game's outcome.

The insecurity and defensiveness of the Geno apologists is thick. If we draft him it will be poetic since we have a reputation as an insecure and defensive city of fans.

In all seriousness...if he's the best QB, I hope we take him. But the apologists need to quite being so freakin' defensive about any little critique. I feel like he's Taylor Mays and the four horsemen are possessing most of CP.

I think they all played a part. I think that Geno in this game, was less of a part than say, the KSU game IMO.

Didn't say that anyone said he was perfect. Just beyond reproach by many of his fans that would say "that guy must have pulled down his pants and backed into him when he wasn't paying attention" if they caught him having gay sex.

There are certainly more than 3-4 if someone took the time to research it.

Tom Brady has had two ridiculous games in true blizzard conditions in the past three years - one in Chicago and that game against Tennessee at Foxboro where he threw 5 TD's in one quarter.
