I don't like the lack of balance in Reid's offenses, and I also believe that much of his success, and the reason he has floundered the last few season is all about Jim Johnson.

I haven't seen anything from Gruden that he can successfully develop a QB, and would be very concerned that we'd end up in the same damn retread QB purgatory we've been in for the last 30 years.

Those are legitimate concerns, and I think that Gruden would be, by far, the biggest risk of the two. His reputation with QBs is something that should give everyone pause.

And while I appreciate 'zilla's comments about Gruden's week in Oregon, I'm not sure if that's enough evidence for me.

It's not enough evidence. But it's enough to give you a second look. And if you start to believe it, you have start to consider bumping him way up your list. Its definitely a risk. But I'd rather take a risk than lay up, which is what I believe Reid is.
