I know you guys are trying hard to argue, but "this last season" uses a very important qualifier in that statement. It means the last season we played, which was this season, the one we just finished finished, the one where Charles was the number 1 rusher in the AFC.

This season does not become last season until March.

Yep. The phrase "this last year" definitely does not contain the word, "this".

Moving on, however, a new invention has come on the market which is a helium-filled balloon in the shape of a fish. It comes in bass, rainbow trout, and salmon variations ... mainly sporting fish, apparently. They come with a hand-held remote that operates their tail fin thereby allowing the user to navigate the little fellas in any direction they choose. This seems ready-made for the SOC movement in that, rather than hiring an expensive airplane to haul a giant banner around, each Chiefs fan can have their own banner fish and fly that little sucker wherever and whenever they choose. I don't even know why we're arguing about my qualifier that clearly implies 2012, the point I made is still right and you guys need to accept that and move on. McCluster did more per touch out of the backfield in the running and receiving game than Charles in 2012.
