I do know that TRT is a significant topic in MMA and is not approved for nearly all cases in Olympic and most professional sports.
Personally, I'd legalize HGH and TRT for all athletes. However, there isn't a large study for TRT's negative affects that I'm aware of. Anabolic steroids can be dangerous, however using them solely to rehab from an injury doesn't provide the health risk as consistent use does IIRC.

I believe there is a correlation between high T levels and shorter life span. I don't think they fully understand why though. The problem on the TRT is where to draw the line on doses.
