Between what's available and what we can cut there is absolutely no shortage of cap or cash...

IMO, no reason to not resign Bowe and Albert. If they don't, we have to address 2 more holes in a roster that is the swiss cheese of NFL rosters, especially on offense. The only reason I'd be alright with letting either walk, is if there is the next Orlando Pace or Calvin Johnson coming out in April. |

plus young players the brought in from FA/traded for. While keeping their key veterans their Mathis, Freeney, Wayne, Bethea is equal to our DJ, Flowers, Hali, Albert, Bowe in terms of keeping. We have actually extra bonus with guys like Charles. I wouldnt fault Reid from flat out cutting all CBs but Flowers, Kendrick Lewis, TJax, and any piece of shit WR he wants to get rid of. |

Even then - we let Albert walk and draft our new LT - that's still just treading water. It's just making a need and filling a need. No progress there...

B) Yes, we do need to cut people. C) Yes, we should hire the type of person that does "retool" the roster through the draft. D) This team has an odd makeup. It's full of elite players and total $3itbags. There is no "average." There is very little depth of any value. If we draft well and sign well we should be competing for a SB in 2 years. End of story...

Agreed. Resign Bowe, Albert, and Colquit; cut TJax and other dead weight, and go after second contract players with some upside--including competition for the QB we should draft. And then let the chips fall where they may.

Albert's a proven LT and there is no one in the upcoming draft worth #1 overall at LT. Pay the man and address other concerns on the roster. Bowe's yardage may have come in garbage time, but he hasn't had a good QB to throw it to him for Godsake. He's heads and shoulders above the rest of the WR's on this roster, including Baldwin. |
