**** it, just bought a pair of PX5's used off ebay from someone with a perfect feedback rating and lots of sales. It was only $100. I'm nervous, but we'll see.

I don't like the idea of a gaming-only headset that connects to the 360 or PS3 via USB.
I've got a set of wireless Sennheisers that actually sit on an output from my receiver, so I can use them for gaming as well as watching TV and listening to music. |

I bought some Turtle Beaches a while back for like $80. there were great, but cheaply made. the ear piece broke completely off.
though, I got them to play BF3, I could never find anyone to talk to ..I could hear people on my squad etc, but I don't think anyone ever heard me. but, the sound of them was great. I'll probalby score another pair one day, but might not spend as much money.
