You are right about the Clippers too. They so struggle in the half court. |

Never count out any team that has Kevin Durant. I said the same thing when people were handing the Lakers the conference title last summer. Harden and Westbrook are great players... but as long as they have Durant, they can beat anyone.

Imaging Durant, Harden, and Westbrook on the same team.

On Memphis, they'll need to be hitting on all cylinders to beat any of the top teams in the West. Gasol and Randolph have to be playing at their highest level. But defensively they're pretty dang salty, so with that inside game they're dangerous. |

It's fairly amusing how Thunder fans have bought so heavily into trading Harden and it not being a negative.

Exactly. They could have easily kept him but the luxury tax would have cut into their operating profit. I may be buying too much into the Bill Simmons argument but they could have kept Harden and still not been one of the highest spending teams.

He could have been the guy while Durant and Westbrook were on the bench. He also would open things up for them even more when they are all on the court together, and them for him. Big 3.
1-3 really isn't the positions where you want your big three, but they probably win the Championship with him this year. Unless its just that the Rockets know how to use him and the Thunder didn't.

the Rockets dont know how to use them, they just have 1-3 that constantly shoot.
their shooting efficiency is terrible, but they keep shooting hot or cold. Lin, Harden and Parsons have terrible numbers but a high volume of shots, and Asik just stands under the basket to get his 10 boards a night because of it. They are a poor mans Golden State. |
