Don't get me wrong, I want to keep Jackson. He's good, just not elite. If he's not willing to take a reasonable pay cut, then cut him. Try signing him after he talks to a few teams and sees what his market is. If they are also offering him too much, then let him go. But I don't see that happening, and if he wants a starting job his best bet is coming back here IMO.
