Chiefs If we pass on him, how far will Geno fall? - Page 11

Let's look at this from another angle. Say we take *insert player here* instead of Geno Smith. Who grabs him instead of us? I say the Raiders won't be able to not take him, and we get to pay for it for about a decade.

This is a quarterback league. There is no position on the field more important to a team. I still say Geno is the pick based on that fact alone, but if I'm wrong, there is going to be a team picking not that far behind us that will thanks us greatly and swipe him up. Opinions?

If we were to draft Geno just to release him, I would have no choice but to formally resign from all things Chiefs for good. Im close as it is anyway, and if the ransom partner is Oakland, Ill just burn my red and gold and never look back.

I'm not convinced the Cardinals do. Barkley would work just fine in their weather.

But the Eagles do. The Eagles, Bills and Raiders are plenty of juice for a bidding war.

But it all depends on the Chiefs being willing to actually draft him to really force their hands.

And I said he will drop to #2. I did not say the Jags would be the ones at #2 taking him.
