I helped a friend build one of these many years ago, the "kit" was just the slide and all the non-lumber items, instructions, and a list of the types and amount of lumber needed build it. So assuming nothing has changed, even if you buy a kit, you're still going to have to build it yourself.

not trying to get out of sawing / building..... curious if the kits are worth the price........or if i can make just as good if not better for the same/close to the same
