Well ****. I saw the talking heads discussing if Albert was worth more than the 54th, but I missed what they said. What is the consensus among the "experts"? Is Albert worth more than that? And could we possibly be getting future picks or are we just going to get bent over and shafted hard?

The Chiefs, in my estimation, have zero desire to keep Albert here next year. I'll question Reid when I see the finished product here.

The consensus is that a 2nd is probably too little for Albert, but a 1st is too high and you're not going to get the Dolphins to agree to it. Most believe that this trade is a bad idea, but that the Fins 2a would be the least worst realistic situation if we are committed to trading him. However, the 2b seems most likely. |

No matter what pick it is, I'm going to reject it on my alternate reality 1 team. I'm not giving up my left tackle for a second round pick.

That would be like the Dolphins wanting a change at QB and then asking Ryan Tannehill to re-sign with the team, but move to WR. He'd probably tell them, "No, thanks. I'll either play QB or you can find me a different team." |

Ask all 10 of the best left tackles, and you'd probably hear the same thing Albert told the Chiefs: get bent, I'm out of here. |

There was a bunch of incidents that spiraled at the end of last year that sealed *****'s fate. Prior to that, Clark Hunt was in *****'s corner 100%. I'm sorry you're just a bitter asshole that needs outside influences to form your own football opinions.

But I don't blame the Chiefs either. This is a new regime that doesn't have to pay everyone or love everyone from the prior roster. They don't have to keep a player they feel they can upgrade because some feel he's a top 10 LT. I don't love Albert like a lot on here, but I also think that if the Chiefs were drafting in the middle of the round and traded Albert, the outrage wouldn't be this bad. If Dorsey was a true idiot, he would have just let Albert walk the same day he franchised Bowe and some would have just overlooked it because they got Bowe locked up and they would have viewed it as one or the other. He did the smart thing and will eventually get the 2nd rounder back for him. I get it. I'm no Joeckel fan either, but I'm willing to see how things turn out before I'm jumping back into the Save Our Chiefs mode.
