How many teams can even afford to trade for Albert and still be under the cap?
Detroit? Arizona? Miami? SD? |

It's gonna be to the Dolphins for 50 whatever. Ireland stood strong on this one, didn't blink.

Actually Ireland was probably going to blink but he took that option away when he used the #42 on Dion Jordan. He left the Chiefs no option but to take the #54 but I'm sure KC will try for a late throw in pick as well now. At worst it will be #54 for Albert.

All I know is that Albert needs to go. He's a greedy prima donna that will refuse to play RT, and there is no way the Chiefs should waste Fisher at the RT spot, except maybe the first year if they absolutely have to keep Albert this year.

I think KC holds all the cards, not Miami. Sure, the 42nd pick is gone but that probably means the additional pick we get in the deal will be better. Albert for #54 and their 2014 2nd rounder.

54 is like a third round pick. Barkley Geno and Nassib will all be gone

Might as well keep Albert now if the compensation isn't gonna be there. Just keep him this year play Fisher at RT and have a beast O Line.

Keep him for what? He wont be here next year. Who gives a shit about a 1 year OLine on a team that wont compete for anything of importance?

Chiefs clearly aren't in rebuild they are trying to win now. No reason to get rid of one of your assets for less than his value unless they just feel his attitude is so bad that they want him out no matter what.

The Chiefs aren't in a full blown rebuilding mode, however they also aren't in a winning mode either. I don't care what Dorsey or Reid say in interviews. This team isn't winning with a mediocre "don't **** it up" style QB. |
