18 or 19 td would be a 10% or 20% improvement on his 1.0 td per game average

Am I the only one optimistic about 2013?
I don't think Reid believes Smith is the answer but he was the best available for a team with talent that is in their prime. I think we'll draft a QB high next year. I was hoping this year but this was a weird class overall. I didn't really say dang I wish we could've had this guy or that guy...

The OP is silly.
Reid will still try to pass first. He always has, he's been in the league for a long damned time and has never done anything but pass first. Whether we'll succeed throwing with this roster is another question.

Your fail is though, that the 49ers had the number one rushing attack in football under alex smith, usually were leading in the second half, and didnt have to throw. You dont know your ass from a gopher hole Clay. You are just a bitter ****, who really just needs a really good ass whipping, and someone to cut off your dial up......Get a life....

again, you dont know shit. The 49ers had crabtree.......vernon was ignored, delanie walker dropped as many passes as he caught. Randy Moss was a decoy. Manningham was occasionally looked at. You just dont know as much as you think you do. You really dont......like, at all.

hes not going to fail. Hes not going to be drew brees, or aaron rodgers, but what he is going to do, is keep the chiefs in ball games. You know it, and I know it. Even if he is asked to throw more, hes still not going to turn the ball over. So, either way. Its a win win for the chiefs. Sorry that you cant get out of your own way......

In 2011, his most targeted receiver, was michael crabtree. He threw at him 121 times in 2011, his next target was vernon in the 60's You chiefs fans, you know the same ones that told me over and over and over that you didnt want to hear shit from a 49ers fan, this is exactly why you needed to hear from one, because your misconception of what alex smith was the last year and a half under harbaugh, was severely LACKING.

Andy's "pass first" team means to his running backs.
2010 RB LeSean McCoy lead the team with 78 catches. 2007 RB Brian Westbrook lead the team with 90 catches. 2006 RB Brian Westbrook lead the team with 77 catches. 2005 RB Brian Westbrook lead the team with 61 catches. 2005 RB Brian Westbrook had 73 catches. Now you know why he wanted Alex Smith. This is what Alex does. This is why you just drafted a speedy receiving back. |

Reid and Dorsey looked at our last few years of redzone offense. I am sure that Fisher and Kelce are supposed to give a chance to knock somebody off the ball when a run play is called in the redzone.
One thing about the DV years, with our O-line and Jason Dunn, Chiefs were one of the best at rushing for redzone TDs and would be nice to see that again.
