With Miami coming in second in the division, but missing the playoffs, and Jeff Ireland getting the axe?

Jon Martin would be the LT. He filled in for a few games at the end of last season and did okay.

I'd view it as no different than the Chiefs rolling with Stephenson for a year to see how it goes. Maybe it works and maybe it doesn't.

If someone is willing to give up a 2nd for next year and pay Albert at this point, do it.

However, I think they tagged him intending to trade him to someone for picks in this draft, got burned and are now gonna play ihm and let it play out from there.

He'll probably walk next year, but his replacement is ready to go, and a replacement at RT in Stephenson is ready to roll as well.

I read something Friday on Twitter about how they think Martin is better suited on the left side and want to sign a RT.

Could be shit too though.

If Smith played badly enough that we would need a new QB, we would probably already be in position to draft one.

I guess he better be an instant upgrade, a large noticable one at that, otherwise it was a huge waste.

The worrisome part is that we'll improve to 8 or 9 wins and that will be enough to keep him here entirely too long and allow them to continue to ignore the QB in the draft.

I hope I'm wrong, but I absolutely hate the Average Smith trade and think it will set this team back at QB for at least 2 or 3 more years.

Talking about Fisher over Albert.

But carry on.
