I recommend you hurry and sign some more QB's.

I literally have 3 LBs who are still in football. I suppose I'll run a 4-3.

I find the discussions amusing in a sadistic sort of way.
And the observation that this is a game in itself is correct. It gets suspenseful when you're trying and trying to sign an area of need at one position and apparently others are having the same problem.

I feel bad when I outbid someone with less than an hour left.

Very pleased with my Marcus Thigpen signing. Hoping the Dolphins use him some more on offense this year.

Otherwise, I'm trying to keep my bids on guys that I've bid on in the last 24 hours or have 24-48 hours left on them still. And bidding up someone by $1 is bush league if it's within 24 hours of closing down.

But, you know, I was interested in him, and I've got money to burn. Not ready to let him off off the board yet.

The pressure that I felt, knowing that my FA strategy was going to take a major turn if I threw that much money at one player; I vacillated for two days, and the clock forcing my hand was the real reason I committed to it. Yeah, it sucks for the person getting outbid, but I wasn't going to go higher than I had to so the previous bidder felt better about it. 366 seemed like enough of a commitment. |

But that's why the clock shouldn't be there.
Shit or get off the pot. Like I said, you don't get to slow play NFL free agents. Sooner or later they'll sign what they in hand.
