I know nothing about these windows, but remember an ad that used to be on television for some brand of triple panes windows. Among other things, it featured a "convicted burglar" talking about the safety of the glass. He said, "When I break the first pane it makes some noise, and then when I break the second pane it makes more noise and I'm getting concerned, and then when I see that third pane I'm outta there." I always thought, "What the heck kind of burglar breaks a window one pane at a time? How incompetent are you if it takes you three shots to break open a window?"

Yeah, The guy demonstrated that. They are really strong windows. He gave the glass a really hard punch that would normally break regular glass, They make them that way because they are warranted for life and it costs them money to have to come and replace them. Even the screens are tough to destroy. |

The biggest question to ask is how they seal around the windows.

so when they inevitably leak the gas out and condensation fogs the inside of the windows, they will fix that for free?
