Bringing alcohol on a plane as your carry on?
By now a lot of people know you can bring your own alcohol on an airplane as a carry on as long as it adheres to the 3oz rule and 1 quart baggie rule.

It is illegal to pour your own drink on board, but has anybody thought about asking the flight attendant to pour the little drink for you?

I'm heading out to Vegas in a couple days and plan to do it the right way, and I'm not paying the $7 per drink on the plane.

As for the drink thing... yeah, asking the stewardess to pour it is pretty dumb. It's akin to sneaking food into a movie theater and then asking the usher if they can take your Ziploc full of popcorn out to the stand and put some butter on it for you. If you're gonna bring the liquor on board, just sneak it into the drink yourself.

And as others said: mixing in boarding area is a good idea. Mixing on plane will probably be fine unless you get some Debbie Dogooder next to you who proceeds to give you stink eye for tr rest of the flight.
