I told them my friends got it for free. I've been connected to retention supervisors that basically said there's nothing I can do and I'll close the account now if that's what you want. I'm going to wait until Sunday Ticket posts to my account on August 8 and then I'll call in with guns blazing.

I had the wife cancel it a few weeks ago. I'm going to call in pretending I didn't know she did that. When they ask if I would like it added back I will kindly talk about how finances are tight since we just got married and are saving for a house. I'll say that my wife is right in that we probably can't afford a luxury like Sunday Ticket right now. Hoping for just a discounted price as I doubt with the low level TV package we get that it would be offered for free.

Just called talked to CSR rep told her I got a kid on the way I cant pay their insane prices for the ticket and told her my buddy who has been a customer less than me got it for free, she offered me 19.99 per month. I said na, that was the best could offer so she sent me to retentions told them the same thing. So they gave it to me for free with the red zone channel and also gave me some sport package and all the movie channels for free for 2 months I had to give them a 1 year commitment. Im pretty happy even tho I get all the chiefs games, I just love the NFL as a whole. I guess you cant beat free lol

This is my second year in a row of getting the ticket free, and the previous year it was just less than $100. Being a long time 16 year customer, and getting to the retention department has paid some dividends finally. Next year I won't need the ticket, as I will get it on my antenna, no charge! |

I just called the regular number and worked them over myself. $119.00 total and I was upgraded to the top package where I can get the crap on my computer and cell phone along with the red zone. It's been a long week so I didn't push it any harder, just not in the mood for game playing bullshit today so I'm happy for the break.

Still baffles me how much people are willing to pay for TV.

It's not the Sunday ticket I am referring to as much as just general cable bills that people are posting. Yes, i know it is a ST thread. It's just like when Cox calls me to upgrade services or DTV contacts me for service. Every call ends with me saying I get the only channels I need free OTA why would I want the 75-250 you are offering me that I have absolutely no interest in.
Cox recently threw me a bone and gave me the Economy package with free HD upgrade AND a DVR for $30. I went ahead and took it for the kids but at 12 months I'll just be cancelling.

229.00 No Max. So no watching it on computer or mobile.
I am usually correcting papers during the game anyway. I am in Minneapolis.
