I think I stopped watching MTV around the time that Hawaiian or Filipino chick was permadrunk on The Real World.

An international corporation earning it's $$ off filming a young girl laying around in her Vodka puke wasn't fun any more.

Plus, VH1 was chock full of those funny nostalgia shows and Best Week Ever around then. And Jackass/Wyld Boys/etc. had moved over to MTV2 already.
