Home and Auto Where do you buy your grills?

Mine finally gave out this weekend. I was contemplating heading up to Smoke and Fire to see what they had, but their prices are insane. Is the quality that much better? I was just going to pick up a Weber or something at Lowes.

The quality is that much better. But a weber should suit you fine too. I don't recommend people buy their grills from Lowes, Home Depot, or Walmart.

So, in terms of quality, are we talking outdoor longevity? I use a cast iron plate for most of my cooking, so I'm not overly concerned with any kind of fancy cooking enhancement. I mostly just need it to get my plate plenty hot.

However, the grill is outdoor (as are most), but it needs to last longer than 3 years even with a cover, especially considering I use it 6 days a week.

There ya go. Should last about ten. I've had one outside, uncovered for at least 5 years.

Interesting. If I didn't have to worry about the local wildlife going for the meat while I cooked it (my dogs, cats, random squirrels), I'd be ordering one right now. I would prefer something with a lid, and that runs off of my natural gas line.
