Despite Guthrie having over 100 pitches and Detroit managing 13 baserunners off of him through 7 innings (Guthrie was playing with fire all game). Ned incredibly decides to not turn to the league's best bullpen and trotted JGuts back out for the eighth in a tie game (which we just knotted up in the top of the inning).

Solo Home Run.

Game Over.

Bonus fact, it was Avila's second off of Guthrie that game.

Ned needs to be fired.
