Am I wrong, or should we be rooting for Alex this year?

So, the Chiefs gave up their 27 this year in round one. And a hypothetically placed round one next year. Plus a third. In this one instance, we need Alex to excel as it lessens the burden on the front office for next years draft. Were the Chiefs to tank, then Buffalo could end up with the number 1 pick next year, and the first pick in the 3rd round. Whereas if the Chiefs win, Buffalo's new picks are late round or worst, 32 overall, and we bitch a little bit less about Mister Smith.

Win Win?

Spoiler!

I root for the Chiefs to win a Super Bowl and I root against anyone/team that is obstructing that goal. It's been my opinion that Alex Smith obstructs that goal as a starter for the Chiefs. If I'm wrong or see the Chiefs have a glimps of a chance with Alex Smith to win a Super Bowl then so be it I will then be happy he was at the helm but not until then.

Why should I be happy with a guy that holds the team back from greatness?

Cassel had to be injured to get taken out of the game, and people cheered. It should have been done way before that point if the GM and coach aren't ****ing moron pieces of trash.

Not my fault they root and cheer for mediocrity. I'm rooting for greatness.

You should shift your blame on the absence of the running backs, Poe, Hali, Maclin, Houston in all 3 of those playoff games. At least Smith has showed up and play in all 4 playoff games. You can't sit here and say we have 'no chance' when we lost by 7 points or less in every contest. This is the NFL, the healthiest
of the good teams usually wins it all.

The only playoff team we beat was Texans with Brian Hoyer at quarterback. Yeah lets not blame anything on the quarterback.

Alexcuses vary, but they are always plentiful.

I will be very relieved when the Smithherpes is removed from the body of both the roster and the fan base.

Your points are as worthless as the dump I just took even after the nice steak dinner I had last night. The Houston game was a complete shut out. Had Smith and Avant not conjured up some magic after the injuries our players all took, the same would have happened to us in Foxboro.

The only place Tat and Sweet Daddy belong is on the ignore list. The place where asshats who were banking on Aaron Murray to be the QBOTF deserve to be. Appropriate for the fair weather fans who ditched this team at the first sign of adversity the past 2 seasons. Pathetic losers.

We'll stay right here to keep eyes on you, awaiting the glorious day of your full and nuclear meltdown when Smith is joyously removed from everything Chiefs.

What a grand day it shall be!

Until someone reposts a series of respectable posts that you can put together, to the ignore list you go. So long, child.

I didn't say I wanted Aaron Murray to be QBotf I said I wanted to see him play for experience so he can compete against a first round pick assuming that we would do so knowing it was still unlikely but wishful thinking.

I said have an open competition for a first round quarterback that he could earn the job not just given to him. He has to earn it this way biding his time to get on the field.

I never said I wanted Aaron Murray to be QBotf I just wanted to see a draft pick prospect get opportunity to play.

Dorsey thought highly enough of Murray to draft him but Murray didn't do enough to stick. Doesn't even hurt my feelings that they let Murray go.

It's not unheard of to root for a guy your favorite team drafted to get an opportunity to play. I happen to root for draft pick prospects that may or may not succeed but it's fun to find out because that's what giving them opportunity is about. We know Alex Smith is mediocre so why not find out if another quarterback has anything better to offer. I had no expectations of Murray other than see if Dorsey got lucky with his pick.
