The cheapest single line smart phone plan Sprint offers on the LOWEST minute package is $80 a month before taxes. Verizon has a plan very comparable or maybe ten bucks more a month.

Definitely not "twice as much". You guys are high if you think Sprint is THAT much cheaper than Verizon. Where do you get this shit?

Another big adavantage Verizon has, especially with iPhone users, is that Verizon will carrier unlock the phone for international usage after 60 days or right away if its an existing customer. Thats something that Sprint AND At&t doesnt do, and it's HUGE.

Sweet. I have an iPhone 4 but my upgrade (I have Verizon) isn't until February though. Love the iPhone. I'll never have another type of phone. It does everything.

Apple shunned NFC on purpose. Probably not a good idea in many regards. But they did so because they're trying to incorporate their own similar system. Called Passbook. They're trying to do the same things as NFC, but with classic Apple Nazi control. It looks slick for what it's supposed to do, but the fact that they gave NFC the finger and are trying their own version will probably result in slower adoption of the technology as a whole.

What's really surprising to me with the release of iOS 6, is that just about every one of the "New features" they've been lauding are already available via jailbreak on iOS5.

Free turn by turn navigation.
Expanded Siri capabilities to translate, change settings, load apps, etc.
Facebook integration.
Passbook.
Facetime over cellular.
Do Not Disturb and other response options.
Improved Mail.
Panoramic photos.

All of that is a direct result of prior jailbreak only functionality. I'm doing all of that, with a few limited exceptions, right now with jailbroken iOS5.

Apple would never admit it, but the jailbreak community provides as much innovation for their product as do their own engineers.
