undisputable #1 board

did any one else notice that our board bretheren (coalition) have now went to bed with a sportsbook? after watching many posters being booted because of their unsavory reputation bringing down the reputation of their classy board, it seems funny that they now promote the devil (bodog). they cancelled their nudie women thread because it made them look bad. I know that many of their mods get their ideas from this site. i wonder where they got this one. this site has much better content, posters, and now ethics. good luck to the coalition in their quest to snuggle up to the chiefs now that they are now a gambling website. game over - no contest - the planet rules!!!!!!!!!!

No. I didn't know that.

Perhaps you should start a poll in order to confirm that.

Recoil? I never struck. Again, I am not claiming your material is weak or even inferior, I am saying, it is cluttered with BS and it is hard to read. YOu can post in the morning, and come back for lunch and have to go back to two pages to find the previous post from the morning, because there is 50 new BS threads, bumping it to the bottom.

sorry, never heard of 37Forever before coming here, and while it may be something outstanding to those it touches and are involved in. it is not something a fan outside of the event would have to highlight on their schedule as a must know event. Lacking in knowing its name is not a failure for some other forum, but CP for not getting the message out. However, and this is the best argument for both sides, is that I am not the best (not even average) with recalling names. I can't even tell you the actual name of Brain Waters foundation that the CC forum supported this year. I don't care for those type of details. So they never stick.

You're in luck...at the bottom of each thread page is a link called 'Subscribe to this thread' when you click that, the thread is available in your profile as a subscribed thread and you can go directly to it that way.

Joe Delaney is not a figment of Chiefsplanet's combined imagination.

Maybe CC should have a thread about him tomorrow.

Because its worth your time, as an informed Chiefs fan.....
www.37forever.org

As for getting the word out....there was a pretty nice article in some rag no one in the sports world has probably heard of called....Sports Illuminated or something like that...multiple mentions in local newspapers and #37 was retired to the Ring of Fame at Arrowhead last year.

I know that members of your board have nice gatherings and i'm told do an excellent job of fundraising for the charity of choice. very commendable.

There's a neat little feature that places a solid black circle or dot on the "envelope" of the topics you've posted in....it really expedites sorting through the other threads if you use it....I'd reccomend it.

Really. I thought that meant it had an attachment in it. Is there any way to go straight to the last page instead of having to read the whole thread again. Why does the envelop open up on some threads but stay closed on other threads.

I think maybe my whole issue, is that you guys are used to having to sort, but I am used to having everything chiefs related posted in plain view on one page. And when you open such thread, there isn't a bunch of BS post in the middle of the thread.

Attachments are indicated by a "paperclip" before the thread title...."open" envelope means new posts since your last visit.....there is a "legend" at the bottom of the Lounge if you haven't noticed it....

Explore the options menu within your profile screen (as well as other tweaks to your Planet experience)......you can opt for last page first, number of posts per page up to 80, turn off sigs, and avvy's....you can customize the Planet experience to whatever suits you. It's amazing......it all starts with a click on "Profile."

Go explore, little buddy.

But there is no way to go to the first unread post yet>\? I've brought it up a few times, but there seems to be no option for this (yet).

thanks Skipper,

Maybe I should have made my reply more obvious. Like I thought the black dot meant it was tainted with a virus. Or how do I change the little picture thingy under my name.

The little red arrowhead next to the thread title is supposed to take you to the first unread post. I'm not sure it works properly though.

Yes, I am. That is completely what I am bitching about. I am not bitching about anything else but the BS post and the format in which I have to sort the post by. Nothing about the actual content of the Chiefs related post. Nothing about the intellect of the people posting Chiefs information.

My only complaint that has been stretched to everything else possible, is that IN My opinion, that when I come into work, and I want to read up on the Chiefs, the best place to go is the CC forum. If I wanted to see what was going on in the NFL or just around the world. My first choise would be here. Because it is already sorted to Chiefs Talk only, and the threads don't normally get swurved in the middle of the thread like this one did at the very begging.
