He was out there 3 series in game 1. Fumbled a snap on the second series. Had he thrown ne or two passes in game 1, that wasn't the difference in how he played yesterday. He played several series in game 2, and in game 3. Didn't shake off much rust there either, despite throwing the ball. But he did look decent in game 4. 15-17.

Rust isn't an excuse for a 4th year starter IMO.

Naw Coogs - he didn't play as much as most starting QB's. He certainly didn't get to play progressionally as much, and that's what's needed to get ready for the season. You know this.
