Y'see, I didn't see it that way with the Winter Soldier's limited appearance. He wasn't physically in every shot, but he was an intimidating background presence through the whole movie. You don't want to overuse a character like that, or he loses the mystery that was integral to the character.
And you could not have removed Winter Soldier from the movie; he was supremely essential to, if nothing else, Cap's arc. As for what's in your spoiler . . .

How many taxpayer dollars did the crashing of those 3 Helicarriers waste?

I don't want the movie spoiled, but I'd like the "Avengers 2" teaser spoiled for me.
1. Is it possible to be told about that spoiler without having this film spoiled for me (FYI: the simple fact that Captain America will survive this film is not exactly a spoiler, but just about everything else would be)? 2. If it is possible, please spoil away. |

I don't think the A2 teaser would spoil Winter Soldier, so...

Another link to easter eggs with spoilers...
http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2...r-easter-eggs/ One of them isn't a spoiler but I really wanted to point it out. As I sat waiting for the end of movie teaser, I really was drawn in to the main credits graphics. They were really well done. Considering how much I enjoyed the movie, the fact that the credits stuck with me was pretty impressive (IMO). Quote:

I got out to see this Saturday morning with the gf. We both enjoyed the hell out of it after finding the first Captain America to be our least favorite of the first wave of Marvel movies.
Would recommend this to about anyone and will probably watch it a few more times. I'm really enjoying the Marvel movie universe. I just hope they can keep it going with all these actors because it's really awesome but of course it'll change the minute one of the leads decides they don't wanna do it anymore. |

I took the kid (7 yo) to see it last night. We both thought it was bad ass.

Or do you, like so many, find such violent films acceptable for children as long as there is no blood or naughty words? Don't get me wrong... I saw Robocop, Predator, and Die hard before I was 10 years old and it didn't scar me.. but this 'bloodless violence' trend so they can sell it more openly to kids seems wrong to me. I'm more curious if you would feel the same if they used squib packs and showed the violence as being as messy as real violence is. Not condemning your parenting or anything. Just an honest question. |
