Like the pick, but odds are it won't amount to much. Will be interesting to see if they try to keep both Murray and Bray by having one develop an "injury" in preseason and stashing them on the IR until next year when cutting Daniel makes sense...

Wasn't sure what to think, but after a little research, I'm pretty pumped about this pick. Gruden blows everybody, but he gave Murray a ****ing rusty trombone. Let let acl doesn't scare me to much. Seems like he could be a steal.

Love the pick. Given what Daniel did against San Diego I think Bray is in the most trouble... but I know I wasn't a big fan of Bray to begin with.

Everything Dorsey and Reid have done in the NFL indicate they aren't afraid to churn through QBs... their experience in KC so far has been pretty much the same. They turned over all three QB spots last year, and still drafted a very good college QB this year. Still haven't burned a high pick on one, but at least they're putting some effort into finding guys who play the position.

It's fine to be skeptical that he could be awesome- shit, we all are Chiefs fans, it's been bashed into our skulls with constant reminders.

The factor that tips the scales for my optimism is a GM with a track record of eyeing QB talent, and a head coach whose as good as anybody, bar none, in both evaluation and grooming NFL QBs as elite as they've come.

I'm an Alex Smith fan, but after drafting Murray, should the Chiefs wait until camp to give Smith his extension? It's not like his price will go up, and the staff may know immediately if they struck gold with Murray. Not saying it's likely, but you may as well see if Murray wows you.
