OK, how do I count????? I ordered a shower head for my son, in Rolla, MO, on Sunday the 17th and it not there yet.. Does the day you order it count? Then, does the day it's delivered count? IOW, I ordered it on the 17th, should I have expected it to get there on the 19th?

After 4pm eastern and it won't likely ever ship same day. And it's business days, so you can't count Sundays. |

That's why I was asking, if it "shipped" Monday the 18th at 2:28am and Monday's a business day, is the "two day" NLT the end of to full business days Tuesday the 19th NLT 4:00pm?? I'm not trying to be really nit-picky, but if he doesn't get it until this afternoon, that's more than two days. It's better than a week, but it is what it is... OK, that's nit-picky.... |

I can tell you this, if we get stuff UPS, sometimes it will arrive Tuesday rather than Wednesday. If it ships FedEx, it will ALWAYS arrive on Wednesday. |

And I'll say this, so far the package tracking in eBay seems a bit superior, but nothing worth crying over either. And the $64K question is....how long before the son checks the mail if I don't remind him??? LOL! |

And back to one other question I had for the Amazon GURUs.... If I don't want to share the keys to my Amazon kingdom with others, is there a way to get them setup on Instant Movie without giving them said keys to the kingdom?

No. You can share the prime shipping but not prime video.

Actually, you can allow people access to your Prime Video without allowing them to make purchases but it depends on the individual device and there's a limit to how many you can share with.
On some of our devices, we can disable purchases from within the viewer app itself and secure it with a PIN. That way our kids can use Prime Video whenever they want but we don't have to worry about unauthorized or accidental charges. However, a couple of our devices don't support that so YMMV. |

I can see it mirroring the stock market.
Companies using the search data to front run grandmas order of paper towels. Neighborhoods will have their own dark pools. High frequency purchasing will skim a few cents and make some people very rich. I agree, it's a hell of an idea. |

My point may have actually been lost.
In today's stock market, when you use online trading sights, when you click the button to order some stock, other firms have worked it so that they can see what you're trying to order, and they run ahead of you and buy the stock you're trying to buy and sell it to you for a little bit more than what you thought you were ordering it for. They make a profit without ever taking risk, because at the end of each day they don't own any holdings. It's called front-running, and it makes billions for some companies, just a bit at a time. I'm totally with you on saving money by shopping around, and not just pennies. It just struck me as funny what could happen if the ways of the stock market would be applied to physical goods. |
