Rumor Brandon Marshall to chiefs for second rounder

So would you guys make this trade

Personally I'd rather go Joe Haden or Cameron Wake

Listen, I want Conley to be a legit #2 or even #3 as well. He's just not, yet. Not in anyone outside of a major Chiefs fans eyes, is Conley a legit WR currently.

He is in the NFL so yeah he is a legit wr. He is still just a kid learning but he has made clutch catches to extend drives. We don't throw deep enough to get notice in sports center but he blocks and has good hands. In this offense he won't razzle dazzle and flash but I think there are a few other teams that would start him also. Call me a Homer if you want but your value of him is very unfair and skewed.

Hill has at least made an impact, shown a spark, gotten on other teams radars. Currently our weapons are of such, JC/Ware, Maclin, Kelce, and Hill. Harris has arguable as much of more impact than Conley, and don't even mention Wilson to me. I want all of our guys to be great too! There just not, yet.
He absolutely is there. The offense and QB just don't put up enough stats for a young WR 2 on this team to be recognizable. The kid catches everything thrown his way, has great feet, and only gets better and better at running routes and getting reasonable YAC. If he was on an offense that used a #2 at a high rate, he would be everything you say he should be in the national media.

Maclin is being dropped a ton in FF because his stats don't warrant him being started or in some cases, even owned any more. Even in 10-12 team leagues it's getting iffy. That has nothing, NOTHING to do with his skill set, just the stats he pulls in. Same thing with Conley. Conley's lack of stats have nothing to do with his skill set at this point. There are unknown players on nearly every team that are ready to explode when their number is called. Just because we don't know all of them doesn't mean their skills don't exist.

It sounds like Potato is just being very guarded about this solid, upward trajectory to Conley's early career. Not really something to make much out of. Conley has to put in more time before some will lock him in as a legit, established starter.. and that's fine.

Conley's on pace for about 600 yards this season, which is really nice considering the Chiefs have Maclin, Kelce and even Ware ahead of him in terms of receiving options.

I think he'll be a solid performer for the Chiefs for years to come.

Oh and Greg Bedard is a moron. A 2 for Marshall? Good grief.

A similar article on CBS Sports recommended the Chiefs trade for Connor Barwin.

That's a trade I could get behind, especially if it's in the 4th-5th round territory.

Adding another pass rusher would be awesome.
