--Explain what was so God Damned special about the best chicken wings you've ever had

Hi Guys,

Explain to me what was so damned special about the best buffalo wings you've/you'd ever had/tried.

-Where was it?

-Do you prefer a smaller wing or big fat wings?

-Any good blue cheeses or ranch dressings?

-Do you order regular or tell them 'extra crispy?'

-Flat or drum?

-I'd like some details.

-Drop links and pics...

-Do you like wet-naps, cloth or standard dinner napkins?

-Any beverage you prefer with wings?

-How many can you eat?

....What about the sauce ATOP the wings?

Guys listen to me right here - if you mess around w/ that Franks/Texas Pete or whatever and melted butter. I have a very strange recommendation for you - it does NOT sound good, believe me. But back in the early 90's I served for a place that had GREAT wings. They would simply add some of the dried oregano flakes and it works SO DAMN WELL! I know it sounds bad - but it works so well w/ that concoction.

Oh, I was in Atlanta a couple of years ago for work and ate wings at Taco Mac. I recall that they were pretty good.

they are good.

Funny wings are about a buck each these days. I listen to NPR sometimes on the radio - they had a full segment one weekday morning I heard, driving in to work. They highlighted that basically the supply is behind on chicken wings and restaurant owner's prices from the supply farms have skyrocketed - this is what brought on boneless wings, they're actually cheaper to buy for the owners of the wing spots. It was super interesting. LOL

Wings in the store are insanely expensive 1.79 lb untrimmed and 2.79 lb pieces and rarely on sale. But you can routinely find leggs and bone in thighs on sale for .79 lb. Go figure
