***Official 2014 Training Camp/Preseason Mega-thread***

Post all of the Training Camp/Pre-season updates, relevant tweets, and general thoughts in this mega-thread.

If something happens to be particularly newsworthy, feel free to start a thread and discuss it there. Don't be a dickbag and "Q" up their thread, unless some idiot posts something like 5 days late.

WHEN POSTING TWEETS - When posting Tweets, instead of just copying the text, you can actually embed the tweet by clicking "...More" (right next to the timestamp of the tweet)-> "Embed Tweet" -> Copy the embed code, then paste that into your CP post. It will make the thread look a lot cleaner and we won't have to keep clicking away from the website to see the content. Thanks in advance.

Andy Reids practices are generally full scrimmages from start to finish.

Which I still think is the right way to prepare

Anyone who thought an injury prone fifth-round safety was the answer is a fool.

I agree with him that people are getting worked up about our secondary over nothing.

It's far from a finished product or even what someone could call "good," but it's almost certainly an improvement from last year.

It's not at all unreasonable to make the assumption that Marcus Cooper will be a better player than he was last year, and apparently Parker is playing better than Sean Smith.

If we run into injury issues, all bets are off, but until then I'd even be comfortable calling our secondary mediocre with the potential to be adequate. It's not all that terrible or bad.

Exactly. Cooper, Parker, Smith, Gaines and Owens isn't that bad. Yeah....it would be better with Flowers....but most people knew he would be gone with that salary.

And it's more than likely going to happen next offseason with Hali as well (unless he takes a paycut).

Is KC really better if they had kept Schwartz and Flowers at the expense of being able to re-sign only Alex OR Justin Houston as well as not being able to renegotiate JC's contract?

4. Every single player on the DL has put on "good" weight and look like the next coming of Reggie White/Bruce Smith/Wilfork.

5. Every single 2nd/3rd/4th teir WR looks good, which means the backup secodndary is god-awful.

6. TE's look good which is giving fans the false hope that KC will be able to stretch the field down the middle.

Anything else?
Why is it false hope that the Chiefs will be able to stretch the field down the middle with Kelce and Harris as opposed to Fasano and McGrath. Seems pretty obvious to me.
