OKC needs to start their secret weapon, Cole Aldrich, the rest of the series. Otherwise they have no shot.

I really love the don't quit attitude of the Thunder. Thats Impressive. They will win a title eventually.

Yea I like the core that OKC has. Give them a year or two. They'll get at least one.

I have a better chance of seeing the Thunder winning a title than the Chiefs. We need a low post scorer and hopefully Brooks jets to Washington or Charlotte for more money
If Eric Maynor comes back healthy that will help too. That injury really hurt us. |

Its impossible to compare eras but this is the best team since at least the early 2000 Lakers IF they keep going. I've seen all of those teams play, and I don't think I would say its not even close. Except for Showtime and the Jordan Bulls. Also, the games are called completely different now compared to the 90s and 80s. A team like this would just get punked on then. Let's just say they are playing as well as any team this era.

I would have liked to have seen this Spurs team against the 2008 Celtics.

Don't see any way the Heat beat the Spurs.
Lebron and Wade would have to play the whole game, every game.

That, and last year's Mavs. Both teams had incredible benches.

I think we are about the same level as the Heat. Anythings possible I guess, but this team is really ****ing good. I knew losing homecourt would come back to **** us. The Spurs are good enough to win without, but we would have had a better chance.
The Thunder won't give up, and anything is possible. It will take a monumental effort to come back on this team now. I can't do anything, but tip my cap if they keep this shit up. |

I thought Charles and others made a good point that going to the smaller lineup gives a chance of stopping these pick and roll hand-offs. The Spurs have a ton of options so at some point there is only so much rotating you can do but in the end you gotta live with others beating you, not Parker and Ginobili. Its been shown that trying to run around the pick and roll isn't working. Put in Sef and try switching. Maybe it works maybe it doesn't.
You just need to try something different. Look at when they fouled Splitter. They didn't gain much on the scoreboard at all from it but it changed the pace of the game. When you are getting diced up you just need to change the look of the game, even if it doesn't change the score right away. The Thunder are a fun team to watch. Personally for me I just want to see the Heat lose so I have been rooting for the Spurs. Its not that I don't think OKC can win Thunder fans, its just that I think the Spurs are my better odds right now. |

I agree with that. The Heat/Thunder series would be really close. I think what the Spurs do will bother the Heat even more so than us. So if your goal is the Heat losing the Spurs are your best bet.
I'll root for the Spurs all the way if they beat OKC. I like to see greatness and the $600 bones won't hurt either. If anyone including the Heat beats the Spurs in 7 games I will bow down. |

And yes, Chuck made a good point. Perkins should not get a lot of minutes this series even though he was huge in the first 2. More minutes for Ibaka, Collison, Cook and Sefalosha are in order. Chuck actually called out Brooks which I think that's the first time I've seen the national media really question him.
