Per Rotoworld, the Raiders are close to acquiring Carson Palmer.

Now, without Jano and with Carson OR Boller..... the Chiefs have a very good chance to beat the Raiders.

Hue Jackson has impressed me this year as a coach. Now, I am not impressed with the trade for Palmer, but between the lines... the Raiders are inspired and playing hard.

I can appreciate a man who has faith in his team, even when the Raiders were worse than bad I always felt like they could beat anyone.

If the Raiders were making this move, why make it in Week 7?

Hue has apparently loved Carson for a while. Why pay that price now when in the off-season, the leverage Brown would have would be less. They paid the highest price because they were in panic mode.

The Raiders aren't competing with the NFL elite this year

Of course they are desperate. Wouldnt any team in a similiar situation be as well? You cant trot Kyler Boller or a rookie QB out there on a first place team. You cant do that to your fanbase.
