24 is back tonight at 7:00 CST. Anybody watch this?

I got into it at the start of last season. I don't really watch any TV except sports, but it hooked me. Tune in if you have nothing better to do... it roxxors.

Why does 24 use real phone numbers instead of the usual 555 numbers ? Anyone ever dialed one ?

I called the number. I got a voicemail box that says "Nextel phone for 24".

In earlier seasons it was a cellphone on the set. Some people reported that they spoke with members of the cast by calling it, but usually it's just a full voicemail box.

I've read that they only have filmed part of the season when it begins showing on television and then they try to get a feel for how the fans are liking it.

I wonder if this is the reason why the weak subplot about the president's sister disappeared. I never saw anyone on the internet who liked it.

Palmer has looked stronger the past few weeks, too, which is an improvement. Before he just looked like a helpless sponge.

I think the guy who has been playing Assad has done a great job so far. Best performance by someone new to the series.
