Honestly... We couldn't have done it without your help...

If you guys had actually tried to compete this offseason, we wouldn't have stood a chance in the division this year, especially down the stretch. We owe Carl Peterson a big "THANK YOU" for doing what he does best, and keeping the Chiefs in mediocrity, when they have the potential to be the beasts of the league.

If it weren't for Carl, we'd be sitting in third place in the AFC West right now, and watching the Cheifs and the Chargers in the playoffs.

Thanks Carl!

You are hilarious.

The Donks haven't beaten anyone even REMOTELY good on the road this year. Hell, the best team they beat AT HOME was the Chargers back in week 3, when they didn't even have McCardell.

What makes you think the Donks have a snowball's chance in hell of going into Indy and winning?

DENVER CAN'T BEAT GOOD TEAMS. GET IT THROUGH YOUR SKULL.

I was just messing with you. I think you guys will eventually lose, but I wouldn't count on y'all losing right away. The '96 Jags and the '97 Colts showed that underdogs can win the AFC Divisional.

I always thought he was secretly playing for the Colts. After all, they drafted him, though it was immediately hushed up afterward.

Heh... That's why I said "half" expecting... Nobody knows that a wildcard team can win it all better than a Broncos fan. We had a similar December stumble in 1997, and came up to win it all, against all odds.

I don't know that will happen again. But I do know that we've at least *made* the playoffs two years running, which shows a measure of consistency and improvement.

People can say what they will about Jake, but he is 2 for 2 in getting us to the second season.

You're greatly mistaken if you think Plummer's idiot antics got you backasswards into the playoffs. You got in because of good defense and the fact that the Colts decided to let you in so they can kick your ass. I mean seriously, they laid down for you guys today. Pathetic.

20 interceptions!

Doh!, I meant the '95 Colts. You're right, though, all three years from '95 to '97 had a road dog upsetting the home team in the Divisional round. You gotta think that you have a chance in the Wild Card round.

We beat you. But that probably doesn't qualify, because you'll probably want to hedge that win with some sort of qualifier like "we weren't a good team then, but later became one" or some such bullshit that somehow registers in your head, but doesn't make any sense whatsoever... kind of like saying that 7-9 team is superior to a 10-6 team...

Just for the record... 10 wins are better than 7 wins.

I bet you wish you guys would have beat Houston when they came to visit your house.

I think this is different than most games though because they just played this week and the Colts purposely didn't show them anything while getting a good look at the Broncos. The Colts breakdown and gameplan with film better than just about any team in the league.... especially Manning in a playoff setting. It wouldn't surprise me to hear Manning looked at darn near every defensive snap Denver's taken this year, Coyer will have to call a brilliant game, and more than likely that is going to involve Denver's corners being able to match up man-to-man against Indy's passing weapons for 60 minutes... good luck. I actually think they have one of the better back 7's to do it, but I'm not sure they'll be able to get the pass rush needed to hang in there.

It just means that genius Shanahan can't do anything without one of the greatest quarterbacks leading the way.

...a chance... absolutely.

More than that, I wouldn't dare say at this point. I do believe we are talented enough to beat every team. But I believe every AFC team in the playoffs are talented enough to beat every team.

WTF? KC is in no way a good team. NEITHER IS DENVER.

You beat us in WEEK ONE. We destroyed you two weeks ago in the worst fashion since 1983!!!

Denver backed into the playoffs because the Colts decided to lay down. They didn't earn shit, and it will show next week.

Yeah, Manning looked great last year in the playoffs. However, the Broncos beat the Colts in Indy late in the regular season last year, in a game that had playoff implications.

What kind of horsecrap is this? Your offensive and defensive lines aren't good enough to even win one playoff game....this has been shown over and over again this year.

It all starts up....Denver doesn't have it there.

They certainly did, but I think the Colts offense is clicking at a level higher than they were even in those playoffs last year. They had Dallas Clark and Stokely for the entire season this year...

A story that I think is huge that nobody (on here or in the media) talks about is how tightly are the officials going to call contact? That might end up playing a huge role in whether Indy gets to a Super Bowl or not, all this contact "enforcement" was specifically a result of their playoff run... now that we're down to crunch time, how are things going to get called...
