For those that want an update, here is the latest of 4 complaint/demand emails received from the creator of KCGannonFan.Homestead.com :
SECOND request. Please remove at once any and all references my web site. Removing the a link and replacing it with the address is not sufficient to meet my request that your site not be linked to mine in anyway.
While you seem completely unable to comprehend almost everything else said to you, at least you learned to count. I think the text KCGannonFan.homestead.com will stay on my web page for now. As you yourself so eloquently "reasoned" somewhere else, someone might stumble across the site and not realize that it's a joke. Neither one of us would want that to happen, would we? I promised to remove the link if you requested, and did so immediately upon receiving your request. I removed the link only because I felt that perhaps you view a hypertext link as a magical device that transports the user to your beloved site. What remains on my site is nothing more or less than a footnote or bibliographical reference. In case you missed out on it, the web was built upon a foundation of linking. The prevalent view of the net community is that you have made your site available for linking without the need to obtain consent. The entire culture of the web is based on the notion of free accessibility. To clarify, since you seem to have difficulty understanding: PUBLICATION OF YOUR SITE ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB IS THE EQUIVALENT OF GRANTING A LICENSE TO LINK BY ANY OTHER SITE. Since you seem to always find a way to mention your important friends, perhaps one of them can introduce you to Tim Berners-Lee and you can get his take on the issue. My guess is that you feel that including the text KCGannonFan.homestead.com is some sort of copyright infringement. If that is the case, you are clearly and unquestionably wrong. The URL KCGannonFan.homestead.com is equivalent to a street address. The URL KCGannonFan.homestead.com has no original or expressive content that is protected by copyright law. If you did not want people to visit KCGannonFan.homestead.com, talk about KCGannonFan.homestead.com or critique KCGannonFan.homestead.com, then you should not have placed the material on the net.

Hey - Denise - Ask one of your lawyer people what the term "Public Domain" means. You might get a surprise. Too bad you've already made an a$$ of yourself. AGAIN!!!!!

KCGannonStalker,
Originally I commented on your posts on the Planet as weak. First let me apologize, you have handled yourself extremely well. Second let me compliment you on your parody site which is indeed hilarious. And finally it is clear you have done what many of us have attempted, brought Denial's inability to handle a complex situation and to whine about it continuously so clearly forward that everyone has seen it and acknowledged the same. I did not realize you said that, Logical. I'll have to talk to my attorney and see if I can find remedy for that.
Update: If you have enjoyed the Rich Gannon Page as much as I have, it's still available online by clicking here. The Site has been updated to reflect the URL, since I would not want anyone to think that the Rich Gannon Shrine was anything but a joke. It has also been noted that a certain individual's potentially libelous comments and accusations have been removed from PsP. Someone went to a lot of effort to erase their tracks, it seems, as other posts from said individual still populate the databse. Rest assured, Litigious One, that all comments formerly stored on PsP have been duly archived and documented for posterity as they occurred.

"Hero" back at ya, Hank. It would appear that there is more than one good soul at PsP with thin skin.
No offense was intended when I pointed out that there was additional material on the page you cited, as it is quite a lengthy page. I can see how you might have read my post as some sort of personal affront, however. My apologies. I simply felt that the excerpt you posted was perhaps truncated prematurely, as the information immediately following was also applicable to the situation being discussed. ~Dennis

Unsolicited advise.....
I enjoyed this show for a while. I really did.
It's like those playground fights that draw a crowd. Someone was knocked off their high horse and got theirselves muddied up a little. We all cheered. That being said, I think it is time for Stalker to retire himself. It is becoming "kicking someone when they are down." Most of our fictional superheros know that when the job is done, it is time to dissappear. Superman goes back to being Clark Kent. Spiderman goes back to being Peter Parker. The Hulk -> Dr. Bannon. They don't stick around for beers and backslaps with the guys. They return to anonymity. I think it is time for Stalker to do the same. He can leave us a silver bullet to remember him by. As I said: unsolicited advice - and free to boot, and maybe worth the price.

Stalker,
Apology accepted. There see, it's not that difficult to settle differences and we didn't need to make a web site to do it. :) I'm really not that thin skinned but I will say that this parody thing has gone beyond being funny. No doubt Denise reacted badly but what did you expect? It was a joke at first but now it's more like pouring salt in the wound and sharks on a feeding frenzy seeking vengeance, imo. So what was originally funny is now not funny. I guess you can say that my sense of humor is kind of short-lived. Hank~ |

I'll agree that the point has been made. I'll also state that the last line of the post by Hank..."has now become mean and vindictive"...I think that it's ironic, that describes the way Denise treated EG, CP, GC and the Chiefs in general for the last two years. Not two weeks. TWO years. It was as predictable as her response.

Superman, the Hulk, and Spiderman don't retire, they merely wait for evil to rear its ugly head again. And Demise is an evil that just won't go away. Payback has not even come close to being achieved. |
