How in the hell would that work? Did Manning go blind too? He surely can see his passes, and knows if he has zip on them or not.

Joesph Addai and some other guys were catching passes from Peyton after practice for the last few games of last year and said his arm wasnt what it used to be, but that it was getting better.
Now, Manning comes out and says that he would be willing to sign a contract that doesnt include a lot of upfront money. That could mean two things: 1) he wants to prove himself and is willing to do so BEFORE a team has to shell out big money on him...maybe to contradict what is being said about him behind closed doors and is now making it into national news. 2) even he feels his arm isnt gonna return to previous form and he is willing to take less because his "product" is less. ... Id also like to add that on ESPN radio today, they bought up that during Peytons second surgery they had possibly damaged the nerve that is giving him problems. |

If he signs an incentive laden contract, those incentive count towards the cap. If those incentive are not met, I believe the team would be able to add them on to the next year's cap. That means whatever team signs him is going to have to have cap room no matter what.

Until Manning comes out and says something or I see it for my own eyes, probably no one knows shit is pretty much right.

Manning can't throw to his left. He has no arm strength. There is no zip on the ball. Sounds like Cassel.

Only Cassel can't throw to his right or over the middle either. Manning has an excuse which can be fixed by the start of the season. What is Cassel's excuse?

Cassel plays like a qb who has had 3 Neck injuries, 8 concussions, elbow surgery, a broken back, and a busted goober.

i want peyton so bad I've bee dreaming about it at night. I don't care if he's a sheell of his former self, at this point he could be the ultimate game manager and manage this strong team to a big one.

He said he will sign an incentive laden contract. I don't think he said anything about the Colts.
