The State of Kansas: Undefeated in Basketball

is 6-0
is 6-0
The Shuckers are 5-0

Pretty cool. has a very good chance of ending up undefeated in non-conference play.

and if I can brag a little, I'm going to see them in 3 weeks in Philly versus Villanova. It will be my first KU game since Senior Day '97 versus K-State.

I learned my lesson in '00 (or '99) when we lost at home to Iowa State. I keep all throwable objects at least within walking distance of me, or it will end up thrown.

One thing I did do was kick off one of my slippers, and started beating the hell out of my futon with it after Tech got that jump ball near the end of regulation.

My dog is officially scared of me from the hootin' and hollerin', and I think my lumbering ass left divots in the hardwood floors from jumping around.

Let's not get carried away. A win in Rupp will be a much taller task without Wayne, than a win in the Phog.

That could be the gayest thing I've read today. The monitor is giving off the scent of penis and astroglide just for having it appear on it.

I was standing in the middle of my living room watching when they called that jump ball (which in my homerism, I was sure was a foul) and I started jumping and screaming. At some point I kicked my leg and it flew off. When I picked it up, I wasn't quite done venting so I went nuts. Figured I wouldn't break anything expensive that way anyway.

I think it's the very wearing of the slippers. . . . Why not go all the way and don some strappy sandals?

One good thing that has come from Wayne's absence is Alex Galindo. Before Wayne got hurt, he barely saw the field. Now he's out there knocking down 3's grabbing big rebounds and making tons of hussle plays.

Now if he could knock down his free throws...

no, no, no, they have a back to them. They're like those slippers your grandad would wear. Very quite comfy, and since I keep it pretty cold in my apartment, they keep me from dying of hypothermia.

I'd like to know who the idiot was who yelled during Galindo's free throws. I thought somebody would knock him out after the first one but he did it on the 2nd one too.
