Well, I gotta say, even though I lost my shirt ($20 t-shirt), I had a lot of fun playing last night. Thanks to BRC and Dart for creating the games, and to everyone else for takig my money.

I made 13th outta 30 in a 5 card draw game after that. Had some fun there too.

I gotta admit, I really liked the last game we played together best, when we had those lurkers pop-in. I was getting pretty shitty hands, but I enjoyed rooting for planetmembers to beat the strangers every time I dropped out. Was almost like a team atmosphere. I just wanted the planet to win.

Made me kinda wonder, and some of you may have already tried this that have been playing a while. Would knowing the hole cards of 2 other people at th3 table improve your chances of the three of you against the other 7 at the table? I mean, I can really see the advantage of playing together, against a bunch of strangers using some voice chat product to share whole cards and play against the other players, and not each other.

I guess the reason I thought about it is that when we played privately, we were flying through our bets, and the games were much quicker. When we weren't alone, or in that big 30 man game, MANY people were down to the wire before making the play. Made me start wondering HOW MUCH thinking was really needed for a $5 buy-in that these people needed to take so much time. Then I noticed that a lot of the people doing this, would rarely stay in against certain others, and vice versa.

Anyway, thanks for the fun last night everyone. Hope to see ya again next week.

Yes, that was a bg problem of internet poker. People ganging up on others. Using IM to tell each other what they have and then taking turns milking the table. But in a poker tournament you have no idea what table you will be put at and they move you from table to table so its not really a factor. Bigger the tournament, the safer it is. See we could have done the lurkers n because we know each other but supposely the poker sites have software that notices that kind of behaviour and they lose their accounts and can go to jail for fraud but I've never heard of that happening.

I'm in a $40 tourney over at Poker Stars. Going to Atlantis in the Bahamas with my top 5 finish.

Usually your bank will let you get the money through NET TELLER, that is what I use to put it in Poker Room...
