No they didn't throw a flag on it either. I was pretty surprised seeing as the guy grabbed him around the head and I've seen alot less flagged for getting around a QB's head.

I hate Manning, but I didn't think it was funny, either. Now if it had been Romo or Harrison, I would say they got what they deserved.

BoltFanz think maybe poor Merriman was just trying to heal some injury maybe.....

"merriman will be back, there are so many people acting like they are holier than thou, but the reality is that he made a mistake, hopefully he will learn from this and get off the crap, I don't think he needs it to be honest, he could have been using it to heal an injured achillies ala castillo"

No question DWI is a very serious offense and should not be taken lightly.

Besides Warfield and Allen is there anyone else in the last few years that has gotten a DWI?

Thanks and I agree.

Now if the NFL comes back this week and fines the player for the hit would you agree there is a double standard?

This is laughable-has their been a more vocal person on here for good conduct in the NFL?? I started threads admonishing EW, spithood, gwes, and Roidburn. I have never once defended illegal conduct or roids.

I think it will depend, right now I don't think it will be fined, probably should have been flagged. It wasn't a blow to the head it was more of a "ah shit I bent my back the wrong way".
