On the defensive side of the ball:
The running game is the Bronco's key to success since the Indy game, not Manning. Interior Dline play will win or lose the game for the Chiefs. If they are stout at the point of attack, our LB speed will take care of the rest.

Limit blitzes. We have the talent to get pressure rushing four, especially not having to worry about trying to containing a mobile quarterback.

The Broncos can't run picks if the timing is broken up at the LOS. We have physical DBs that can manhandle their receivers. Understand that one will get loose and Lewis will be on the wrong side of the field picking his nose, but stick with it.

On offense:
Lot's of I formation with Sherman. JC is as fresh as he's going to be until September 2014, so run the damn ball. Use Alex Smith's mobility early on some designed bootlegs, along with some screens to slow down the Bronco's rush. Run some plays directly at Von "I'm wearing glasses now so it's all cool" Miller and steamroll him early.

Other thoughts:
-I believe Alex Smith hasn't been aggressive in his passing because he hasn't been in a game situation necessitating throwing into tight windows or letting Bowe go up and fight for the ball. This will could be the first game the KC gets seriously behind this could be the first game where AS has to take some risks and let it all hang out.

-2nd down and 1 = free play. Hey Andy, take a shot down the field! You can pick up a yard on 3rd down. Seriously, quit running JC up the middle on 2nd and 1.

-Should be in the high 20's with a possibility of some snow at game time. Old bones ache in the cold.
