Forget this game for a second… I still can't get over Reid's atrocious game plan for the Tennessee game.

The most winnable game on the Chiefs schedule for 2 months, and Reid apparently game planned as if it were the 5th preseason game.

But you're right, some result. That being said, it's at least entertaining, so if it's the same result they should do it so the fan base thinks they at least care.

I don't disagree. Personally I find the LJ diaper call out one of the greatest player call outs of all time. We had quite a bit of fun with it.

If not championships you have to give us SOMETHING.

Yeah, but LJ was better at his job than DV was at his - BY FAR. But alas, Dick was a dick and used it to spark a team's desires (ON OFFENSE). But alas, he still was an epic failure as a head coach when it came to the other side of the ball and bringing championships to KC. Watching him cry like a baby-bitch once he was forced to fire a pretty useless DC - and the many other times he cried like a baby - was the final word on who the baby was between the two men. Had the Chiefs not held LJ out he'd be KC's all-time leading rusher, and did it behind some pretty poor O-lines.

Jus sayin...

Same shit different year. Last year everyone was blowing him because we were winning despite his shitty coaching.

Reid licks ass. His clock management makes Herms look impeccable.

Reid is nothing more than an over weight Marty. Travesty when it comes to game day coaching.

FTR, I was not attempting to defend DV's time here. I was saying that we have had the opposite approach of what you described and it made no difference.

And LJ was a "big boy" on the field but sucked in real life. His treatment of women was the final word on who the real man was. Whatever. I'm not trying to start an argument here. I'm tired, buzzed and depressed. Ultimately, neither guy delivered for this city. And that is the bottom line, diapers and tears aside.

Indeed, LJ lacked at many things off the field, on that we can agree..

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The timeout was a joke when you are trying to kill the clock. During the 3rd down call, I didn't mind the draw. Getting time off the clock was good. I know it's putting the cart before the horse, but with a 4th down and no time at least Peyton can't drive for a FG. I wouldn't have been against going for two either.

Reid makes so many little mistakes in management it's insane. I mean it's really insane, considering how detailed teams get about most things. This goes for Denver too. What in the world was John Fox not calling timeout out for when the Chiefs were inside the 10. He could have made sure that worst case scenario Manning had 50 seconds to win the game.

The choosing to punt on 4th and 1 at midfield was the ****ing killer. He should have at least challenged the spot. Manning took it right back downfield for a td. Stupid Reid.

Didn't they have 3 left? And in Denver it isn't hard to get in position to try a 60 yard FG.

He wasn't willing to trust the D against TEN at home so he fakes a punt but he trusts them against Manning on the road. The Chiefs franchise(and too many of their fans) are the poker players that never win cause they don't get that risk is needed.

The Chiefs should have been playing this game with house money. They really had nothing to lose today. They weren't supposed to win. Take a chance. It's more of a risk hoping you can keep Denver from getting to the 50. Cause it isn't Denver scoring that makes the decision bad. It's letting them get to the 50.

Yeah, they had 3. I figured they had two when I saw a timeout was called but it turned out to be KC who called it.............
